In Summary
You're at camp, with cabins, common rooms, wilderness and beaches. There's no apparent way off the island, but all basic needs are taken care of. This camp isn't about struggle and survival. There's food on your plates and tampons in the bathrooms. There's electricity and running water, but it's otherwise kind of low-tech. Sex is encouraged in various ways, both subtle and blatant.
Cabins
Your lanyard holds two keys. The first is the key to your cabin. Each cabin comes with four sets of bunk beds. The second is the key to your foot locker. Inside, you'll find bed linens, a set of towels and washcloths, a bag with toiletries, and some clothes. The clothes look like someone had three minutes in your room to stuff as much as they could into a bag. If those five socks, a t-shirt you only keep around for laundry day, and a pleated skirt aren't enough to get you through, you'll also find a camp-issued swimsuit, a pair of shorts, a commemorative t-shirt, and a pair of flip-flops. If you dig all the way to the bottom, you'll find a single sex toy, a piece of lingerie or some other sexy extra tucked down in there.
Amenities
There's a communal bath house with showers and toilets. This is a good visual to keep in mind. For such a utilitarian shower set-up, there sure are a lot of extra handles in the shower stalls, though... The bath house isn't divided by gender unless students take it upon themselves to set up a schedule or something of that nature.
The dining hall serves three meals a day, and keeps some simple foods like cereal, fruit, and sandwich fixings available at all times. Bottles of spray whipped cream and chocolate sauce are also always available in a cooler, even when the soft-serve machine isn't on.
The first aid station offers self-serve bandages and aspirin and the like, with an on-call nurse for more serious issues. Life-threatening injuries are magically taken care of.
There's a recreation hall with a lounge, table tennis, some board games, a small honor-system library, and an arts and crafts room. The little sexualized touches appear here, too. No matter how hard you look, you'll never find a deck of cards without naked pictures, and the library does include porn. It may also be the only camp to ever feature life drawing. The laundry room is also located in the rec hall, perhaps to help alleviate boredom while waiting for the dryer to finish.
Nearby, one of the few paved areas has two basketball hoops, and there's a volleyball net set up in a grassy area near it. While camp staff and sometimes campers will host special classes and events, the supplies for sports and recreation are in general openly available by checking them out from the supply closet. Except for boats. There's a definite lack of boats.
Management
The main office greets new campers and takes care of all administrative needs. Here you can find the computer and printer they use to make camp announcements, a copy machine, and other office supplies. They may let you use them if you ask nicely.
Little Extras
Campers receive currency in the form of Bare Bucks for doing chores, winning contests, as gifts on special occasions, and sometimes just because. The bills look like Monopoly money.
You can spend Bare Bucks in the camp store. It's about the size of a hospital gift shop or small airport store and has a similar mark-up on everyday goods. However, anything related to sex is deeply discounted. (Government subsidies.)
Communications
Cell service is non-existent, and there's no internet access. There's a mailbox on the outside of each cabin for the delivery of camp newsletters and general notices. You can also use it to leave notes for other campers. If you have a notice for a general audience, you may wish to use the bulletin board outside the dining hall instead.
Electronics
The overall feel of the camp is low-tech: a grainy TV with a VCR and three tapes in the rec hall and an old machine that displays the lyrics on an LCD screen for karaoke night. That isn't to say modern electronics won't work. You're just limited to what you had on you at arrival, and you'll pay a premium for a charger from the camp store. Again, there's no internet or cell network on the island, so even if you manage to keep your phone fully charged, its capabilities will be limited.
Weather
The weather is generally pleasant - warm and sunny enough for outdoor activities, but not overwhelming - with occasional heat waves or rainy afternoons.
